This app activates the device interface for the Realtime Ethernet system PROFINET.

This app activates the device interface for the Realtime Ethernet system PROFINET and allows the ctrlX DRIVEplus with CORE option and the ctrlX COREplus to connect as a subsystem below a third party PROFINET controller. The data of the PROFINET device are available for all apps on the ctrlX CORE via the real-time data layer.

The configuration of the PROFINET bus system is done within the ctrlX CORE web dialogue. The PROFINET device App requires the ""Automation Core"" app and the ctrlX DRIVEplus with CORE option or the ctrlX COREplus hardware with MultiEthernet hardware extension.
