The XCD double-axis converters from the ctrlX DRIVE range generate a DC bus voltage from the supply voltage and convert it into a controlled AC output voltage with variable amplitude and frequency for the operation of two servo motors

The DC bus voltage generated in the unit may be used for supplying additional XMS single-axis and XMD double-axis inverters. Via the standard runtime, which enables the realization of most drive task, additional optional function packages for demanding applications are available. By means of various ordering options, it is possible to expand the hardware with ctrlX SAFETY for safety-related applications up to SIL3 and with the drive-integrated ctrlX CORE for nearly all automation applications.
