CompactBlock LDX I/O Modules

Our Bulletin 1790D CompactBlock™ LDX I/O modules are a cost-effective distributed I/O solution for light industrial environments where high-protection specifications and advanced performance features are not required. Base blocks include I/O points and a built-in DeviceNet™ network adapter. Digital I/O expansion blocks provide the flexibility to add I/O points to your CompactBlock LDX I/O system.

  • Includes built-in DeviceNet™ network connectivity
  • Allows addition of expansion blocks to a base block for up to 80 points per node
  • Includes universal sink/source inputs which reduce the number of components to stock and provide flexibility of input types
  • Includes node address switches and autobaud rate detection which simplifies network commissioning
  • Offers fixed screw terminals for convenient disconnection

1790 CompactBlock™ LDX Digital I/O Base Blocks

  • 24V DC, 120V AC, and relay outputs
  • Up to 32 I/O points per block
  • Each base block supports up to three expansion blocks

1790 CompactBlock LDX Analog I/O Base Blocks

  • Up to  four I/O points per block
  • 16-bit integer data format
  • Each base block supports up to two expansion blocks

1790 CompactBlock LDX Thermocouple and RTD I/O Base Blocks

  • 16-bit integer (2’s complement) data format
  • Thermocouple and RTD base blocks do not support expansion blocks

1790 CompactBlock LDX Digital I/O Expansion Blocks

  • Add to base blocks to expand the I/O assembly up to 80 I/O points
  • 24V DC, 120V AC, and relay outputs
  • 8 or 16 I/O points per block
  • Compatible with all base blocks, except for thermocouple and RTD base blocks
  • Includes 7-cm ribbon cable connector
